This was carried out on a cylinder overhaul for Aker Solution. The order consisted of a FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), i.e. testing that is carried out by the supplier before the product or system is delivered back to the customer. In this case, it was pressure testing after the overhaul that was carried out. Prior to the test, the test requirements were reviewed with the customer.
Some customers want to physically participate in this test. Due to travel restrictions during the pandemic, Servi therefore set up equipment for live broadcasting so that the customer could witness the testing from his office. Both people from Equinor and Aker Solutions followed the test without being physically present.
