The factory at Rissa, formerly Servi Cylinderservice, was established in 1936 and began producing hydraulic cylinders and accumulators in 1956. Since its inception, our products have been used in the world's harshest climate for very demanding work operations.
Servi's factory at Rissa has been producing cylinders since 1956, then known as Cylinderservice. Today, we manufacture cylinders, accumulators and dampers with piston diameters from 20 to 1500 m.m. and with stroke lengths of up to 20 meters - in various material qualities - single and double acting cylinders.
Most of what we deliver is specially adapted to the customer's wishes, but we also have standard cylinders. These have a cylinder configurator that you can use to draw the cylinder as you want it.
We offer overhaul of all types of hydraulic cylinders, of all makes. Our 6 service departments in Rissa, Ski, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Ulsteinvik and Trondheim have expertise and equipment for overhauling hydraulic cylinders and accumulators. We carry out honing of cylinders in Kristiansand, Bergen and in Rissa.
Our department in Rissa outside Trondheim has Norway's largest raw material warehouse for fast production of spare parts, such as cylinder rods, pistons, packing boxes, and gaskets.
The service department overhauls cylinders up to 1,500 mm in diameter and stroke length up to 20 meters. Our state-of-the-art CNC lathes and cylinder hone machines enable us to have fast response and service delivery times.
Servi Hybrid Drive is a complete hydraulic cylinder assembled in a compact unit with electrical connection. The cylinder is space-saving, safe and highly energy-efficient.

We can supply all parts for all types of cylinder makes. Spare parts for hydraulic cylinders are mainly seals and bushings/bearings. We can also produce steel components, such as new cylinder rods, packing boxes and other things at the factory in Rissa.
At our factory in Rissa, you will find Norway's largest manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, accumulators and dampers. We have an advanced machine park and a fully integrated MPS system. In addition, we have cutting-edge expertise in construction, hydraulics, machining, welding and materials technology.

At our cylinder factory in Rissa, we have the capability to vertically test cylinders in a hole with a diameter of Ø1200 x 15,000 mm depth. This allows the cylinder to be lowered into the ground, leaving only the rod exposed to the open air.
