Due to wear and tear, it was time for an upgrade of the facility at the Suldal Dam hydroelectric power plant.

Servi, Sandnes department, received the entire contract, covering everything from product manufacturing to road closure and traffic control while the upgrade work was underway.

What did the assignment consist of?

  • Dismantling of old equipment
  • Cylinder for 3 gatehouses
  • Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) with a control cabinet in each
  • Replaced bearings and bolts (with grease) in the dam gates
  • Assembly of new equipment
