Rapid replacement of the cylinder rod resulted in minimal downtime

- Servi, originally known as Servi Cylinderservice, utilized the original drawings to manufacture a new cylinder rod during the summer holiday. Access to the original drawings ensured minimal downtime for the hatch – without them, we could have faced a month of downtime

What the assignment consisted of:

  • New stainless steel cylinder rod for the spillway gate
  • Construct a frame that was used for helicopter transport and simultaneously ensure a safe way to mount the new rod without damage
  • Service on the hydraulic power unit
  • Complete cleaning with the replacement of parts, as pointed out in the service report
