The gangway at Bergen Port was upgraded with several deliveries:
• Laid a 250-meter piping system
• Installed cylinders for lateral displacement of the gangway for greater flexibility along the ship’s side
• HPU with environmentally friendly hydraulic fluid
• Cabinet for HPU for weather and noise protection
• Radio control, control cabinet, with Tosibox, which can be connected to 4G for troubleshooting and remote programming
• Electrical cabinet
• Overhaul of wheelhouses for lateral displacement of the gangway
FACT
Before and after: The old system ran at 15kwh, even with little load, there was a lot of noise and high electricity consumption. With the new system, noise was removed (from 97 decibels to 69 decibels) and the electricity consumption of the unit was reduced, from 15 to 4kwh when the ship is docked. The hydraulic unit is service-friendly – the filter and components are easily accessible for service. In addition, troubleshooting is easy.
In addition to the delivery above, Servi has signed a service agreement with Bergen Port, which includes inspections and condition checks based on operating patterns and environment.
• Filter service
• Inspection/maintenance of electrical cabinet
• Oil analysis
• Functional testing of the system
• Control of inductive sensors, thermostat/cooling, level guard, and cylinder
• Inspection of pipes and hoses
• Timing of speeds on the different functions
• General condition of the system with report
