NDT Non-destructive test method in hardened concrete.
A DYNA adhesive tester for concrete is used to measure the adhesion strength between concrete surfaces or between concrete and other materials, such as coatings or repair mortars.
The adhesion tester measures the force needed to pull an attached sample of concrete or coating away from the substrate. This gives an indication of how well the materials bind to each other.
The device consists of a pull mechanism, a load cell to measure the force, and a fastening mechanism to secure the sample to the device. It is used to evaluate the quality of repair work, coating systems, and to ensure that surfaces have sufficient adhesion to withstand stresses in use.
A sample is attached to the surface to be tested, and the apparatus applies a traction force until the sample loosens. The force required to loosen the sample is recorded and used to calculate the adhesion strength.
