Density meter

Aggregate density measurement is a process used to determine the density of materials such as sand, gravel, and stone used in concrete and mortar.

The density meter provides accurate measurements by weighing samples in water, to assess the quality of the aggregate. Its purpose is to find the ratio between the mass of a concrete and its volume. Density is measured in kg/m3.

It is built with a robust frame that supports an electronic scale, which must be purchased separately. The weight can have different capacities, from 300 grams to 60 kg, depending on the need.  The frame comes with a platform for a water tank that can be adjusted in height.
A basket can be used to measure loose material.

Quality control: Density meters are used in laboratories to ensure that aggregates meet specifications and standards.

Research: They are also useful in research environments to develop and test new concrete mixtures.

Accuracy: Density meters provide precise measurements, which is essential for ensuring that materials are used correctly in construction projects.
