Random measurement (sink measurement) is the inspection of fresh concrete before pouring

Measuring randomness on fresh concrete is important to know the concrete's ability to measure its ability to flow out.
Correct sinking makes it easier to work with the concrete, and ensures the correct consistency of the concrete.

The random measurement performed according to NS EN-12350-2:

The sink cone is placed on the worktop and filled with concrete with the help of a dowel bar. The cone is slowly lifted from the worktop. The sinking of the concrete is determined by reading how much it has sunk down.

Distribution carried out according to NS EN-12350-5:

The sink cone is placed on the fall table and filled with concrete. Wooden rammers are used to level out the concrete in the cone.
The spread of the concrete is determined by lifting and releasing the table several times, so that the concrete flows out. Distribution is measured in mm.

Distribution carried out according to NS EN-12350-8:

Sink propagation Self-compacting concrete (SKB)

The sink cone is placed on the worktop and filled with concrete with the help of a dowel bar. The cone is slowly lifted from the worktop. The extent of the concrete is determined by reading the diagonal dimensions of the circle.
